The great new Burdekin fundraiser Manly Spash n Dash was held on Saturday April 7th at the iconic Manly beach!

The Burdekin Association in conjunction with Manly Lifesaving club were the recipients of ALL funds raised on the day. We are delighted that the event had the full support of our Northern Beaches Council and local state MP James Griffin.

Please google Manly Splash n’ Dash — Splash Series for all the details and nominations and please share with friends and others in your sector network – we hope to make this a significant annual event on the beaches calendar! We note Neil Davies and Steph are also in training for the big event!

The rather amazing Bondi Lifeguards are behind this wonderful initiative that gets Sydneysiders out having fun whether it’s the ocean or the harbour, decked out in their brightest swimmers swimming and running for charity, whether you’re young or old, silly or serious these Splash events are so much fun and what’s more they are raising much needed funds for organisations like ours.

7th April 2018 was the inaugral Manly Splash n Dash and the organisers decided that Burdekin will be the lucky beneficiaries of the event – we are thrilled! You might remember Andrew Reid took part in the Home Sweet 2017 Freshwater sleepover too.
